Terms of Service

The rules for using BidTier. By creating an account, listing a product, or placing a bid you agree to these Terms. Last updated 2026-08-24.

1. What BidTier is

BidTier is a public leaderboard for products and startups, operated by Sizth LLC (“we”, “us”). Anyone can list a product; rank on the board is determined by bids — the more you bid, the higher your listing sits. We also run a free daily spotlight of randomly selected listings, a hiring board, and a space for investors to be discovered. We are a discovery platform only: we do not broker deals, raise money on your behalf, employ anyone, or vet the products listed. Any dealings you have with a listing, employer, or investor are strictly between you and them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use BidTier. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

3. Accounts

You can browse and bid as a guest, or create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. One person or company may not run multiple accounts to abuse free-listing or referral limits. Each account gets one free listing; additional listings and higher placement require a bid.

4. Bids, payments & ranking

  • Bids are placed in whole US dollars, from a $1 minimum. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Applicable sales tax is included in the amount you enter — you are charged exactly what you bid.
  • Your lifetime bidding total is a permanent placement score that does not decay. Boosts and top placement last for the amount and duration you pay for.
  • Placement buys visibility, not results. We do not guarantee clicks, traffic, signups, hires, funding, or any particular outcome from a listing or boost.
  • All bids and purchases are final and non-refundable. See our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the listings, text, logos, images and other material you submit (“your content”). You grant BidTier a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You represent that you own or have the rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Acceptable use

To keep BidTier useful and safe for everyone, you agree not to post, link to, or promote:

  • Adult, sexual, or NSFW material of any kind.
  • Inappropriate, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
  • Harassment, threats, bullying, or abuse of any person or group.
  • Illegal products or activity, fraud, scams, deceptive “get rich quick” schemes, or anything that violates applicable law.
  • Spam, misleading claims, fake listings, or manipulation of ranking, votes, clicks, or analytics.
  • Impersonation of another person, company, or brand, or listing a product you have no right to represent.
  • Malware, phishing, or links that harm or deceive visitors.
  • Infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

You also agree not to disrupt, probe, or overload the service, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

7. Reporting & moderation

If you see a listing that is spam, broken, adult, inappropriate, harassing, impersonating someone, or otherwise breaks these Terms, please report it using the report link on the listing, or email bidtier@sizth.com. We rely on the community to flag problems.

We may review, hide, edit the categorisation of, or remove any listing, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion — with or without notice — if we believe it breaks these Terms or harms other users. Content removed for breaking these Terms is not refunded, and any bid or boost spent on it is forfeited.

8. Hiring, fundraising & investor listings

Job posts, fundraising flags, and investor listings are provided as-is by their owners. BidTier is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, any employment, investment, or funding relationship formed through the platform. Do your own due diligence before acting on anything you find here.

9. Third-party links

Listings link out to third-party websites we don't control. We tag outbound clicks so owners can see the traffic we sent, but we are not responsible for the content, safety, or practices of any external site.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing is accurate or trustworthy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BidTier and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BidTier harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using BidTier and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payments owed, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of BidTier are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we may ask you to accept the revised Terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
